Colonial churches in Virginia
Published in Unknown Binding by Kennikat Press ()
Average review score:

A Classic Work on Virginia Liturgical ArchitectureWhile Brock's prose can be a bit stuffy by contemporary standards, this is still a seminal work in the field of architectural history and well worth review and ownership. The photographs by Francis Benjamin Johnston are hauntingly beautiful and are the standard by which architecture photographs are still judged today. Published in a limited edition by the Dale Press in Richmond VA 1930.

Colt & co. : golf course architects : a biographical study of Henry Shapland Colt, 1869-1951, with his partners C.H. Alison, J.S.F. Morrison, and Dr. A. Mackenzie
Published in Unknown Binding by Cambuc Archive ()

If there's any way you can find this book...........This book is a very limited edition and quite popular therefore it is very difficult to find. I must confess to finding it at an British publisher. If anyone is interested in how a golf course architect thinks and what they actually do, then this is a must book for you. It contains many of the letters between Colt, Allison, and Morrison that discuss many of the aspects of golf course architecture. This book also contains a great biography of H. S. Colt as well.

Come Sunday: Photographs by Thomas Roma
Published in Hardcover by Museum of Modern Art, New York (15 July, 2002)
Average review score:

that's the dayCertainly photography is a matter of composiotion and light and having your head in the right place at the right moment. But in the end what is photography really about? What are these photos really about? Pain, poverty, community, despair, abuse, childhood, church, worship, hysteria, joy, silence, praise, noise, solemnity, life and death. Faith. Faith as a matter of life and death. Yes, I suppose that's it.

The Apocalypse of JohnThis commentary on the Apocalypse of John is amazing. Swete wields a knowledge of the Koine Greek in a manner rarely seen in modern academia. He does take an Amillinial approach, but biblical scholars from all hermeneutical backgrounds will find this book an invaluable primary resource in their research of this perplexing chapter in the Bible.

Commentary on the Holy Bible
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Nelson (September, 1979)
Average review score:

As close to God's heart as is available in the 21st CenturyThe Bible speaks clearly that as the timeline progresses & the time of The Lord's return nears, the world will move farther away from God, attenuating everything pertaining to Godliness. Few Bible teachers, Theologians or Seminaries remain today that deal with the core of what is GOD. One must back up to a time not polluted by commercialism to get to the uncompromising truth of the Bible. Matthew Henry's Commentary cuts through to shine this light, a light so dim in the world today. For the serious Bible student. Warning, it may change your life (metamorphosed)!

The best comprehensive guidebook to South CarolinaLeifermann is an excellent writer, and his commentary is insightful.
